Global restaurant brand P.F. Chang’s is the latest brand to appoint full-service marketing agency Cartwright Communications to support its consumer communications in London.
The Pan Asian cuisine giant selected the agency to relaunch its flagship restaurant in Leicester Square alongside ongoing PR support and joins several other London-based brands that have recently selected the agency to work with them.
Cartwright’s events team – headed by account director Addie Kenogbon and senior account manager Hannah Bullock – handled the full organisation of the event, including guestlist management, influencer relations and on-site support.
Located at 10 Great Newport Street – which was once the iconic site of the Rolling Stones’ recording studio – the new site reopened its doors with an extravagant relaunch event featuring calligraphers, masked dancers and a live DJ.
Addie said: “Working with P.F. Chang’s to deliver a successful re-launch is a real source of pride for the team, and we’re really excited to have generated such strong results in the London press and influencer space for such a major global brand.
“Cartwright has a real passion for helping to raise the awareness of brands in the crowded London hospitality scene, so we’re really pleased to have become a go-to agency for burgeoning international restaurant brands both big and small – whether that be brand new street food ventures, Michelin-starred chefs, or global brands with over 300 restaurants around the world.”
This latest success is one of several recent key account wins for the agency, which has a London base in Fitzrovia.
Italian street food vendor Indegno, health food brand eeetwell, fit-out and refurbishment contractors Pexhurst, architect Able Partners and Chakana, a Latin American restaurant owned by renowned Michelin-starred chef Robert Ortiz, have all been secured through the agency’s London office in recent months.
Rose Hayes, director at Cartwright Communications, said: “In the nine months since we moved into our dedicated London office at The Building Society, the team has gone from strength to strength, and this has been reflected in some significant successes both with existing clients and on the new business front.
“Although London-based, these recent account wins are testament to the work being done by the team across our three regional offices in delivering the results that matter to our clients.”
The Nottingham-headquartered agency, which also has an office in Birmingham, has successfully launched a number of new service lines and now boasts a 33-strong team of PR, digital, social media, brand and marketing experts.
The agency is Great Place to Work certified and was recently named as the 24th best small business in the UK for wellbeing.
