THE food and drink team at leading full-service marketing agency Cartwright Communications has been appointed by rapidly growing street food brand Market Place London, to support the food market’s continued expansion across the capital.
The Cartwright Communications team will provide a mixture of PR, marketing consultancy, social and digital support for the company which is the capital’s fastest growing street food restaurant and bar brand.
Offering mixed-use food and drink spaces in distinctive settings across London, Market Place aims to create opportunities for start-up companies to build their presence in the city by serving customers at prime high street destinations.
Market Place has already established itself as a popular destination for street food vendors in Hounslow, Vauxhall and Peckham, with the Cartwright team primarily brought onboard to help launch the street food expert’s newest venue in Harrow.
Opening its doors during Easter weekend, Cartwright handled the whole launch process including creating press releases, engaging influencers and external suppliers and generating a buzz at the exclusive VIP launch event.
The agency’s SEO services had also been recruited to prepare for the London venue launch and strengthen the brand’s digital presence, including website optimisation and support on landing pages for new locations prior to opening.
Blake Henderson, managing director at Market Place London, said: “We’re commencing a significant scale up across London and beyond, and share similarly ambitious plans as Cartwright Communications to become a formidable presence in London in our respective industries.
“We were very impressed by the expertise of the Cartwright team. They have a wealth of experience launching an array of food and beverage venues across Nottingham and more recently in London, so we’re very excited to start working together on several aspects of our marketing operations.”
As part of the full-service retainer, Cartwright’s social team will be generating a plan to strategically consolidate Market Place London’s venue-specific social accounts into a singular digital presence. This will allow the team to grow Market Place’s audience through a redesign of its visual identity and provide better support with giveaways.
Addie Kenogbon, account director and events management lead at Cartwright Communications, said: “This new partnership comes at an exciting time for our fast-growing London office, with our full range of services appealing to a range of consumer brands. We’re currently receiving several new business enquiries interested in hearing about our event organisation support.
“Our team has hit the ground running with Market Place London, and I’m confident our collective enthusiasm to elevate the company’s marketing will pitch the venue as an attractive destination for prospective small business vendors and consumers.”
