BUNCHES
BACKGROUND
Family-run florist Bunches started up with a market stall in Mansfield and grew from strength to strength, becoming one of the first florists to offer home delivery after partnering with the Post Office in 1990. With strong commitments to charity and sustainability, Bunches wanted a PR partner that shared its ethos and could take its message to a wider audience.
APPROACH
Our target is to increase the company’s e-commerce profile as an online flower, plant and gift business, gaining national and glossy consumer coverage to drive customers to the website to buy its products.
Our eye-catching press releases and features highlight Bunches’ beautiful letterbox gifts, with tricks and tips on subjects such as keeping your blooms fresh. We organised charity donation campaigns with care homes, and our ‘random act of kindness’ campaign to donate free flowers to visitors at Nottingham Castle was a huge awareness-raising success.
RESULTS
Bunches has achieved an impressive number of website backlinks – boosting conversions and SEO rankings – through our press coverage and product promotion. We have placed content in key titles including Good Housekeeping, ITV This Morning, the Daily Telegraph, Homes & Gardens, Cosmopolitan and Glamour.
We react quickly to media requests and create consumer-friendly content around seasonal milestones, reaching the right audience and boosting sales. National results in 2022 include appearances in The Sun, which gained Bunches 629 customers and £11,874 in revenue, and the Daily Telegraph, which saw 324 conversions and £11,208 in revenue.
