BACKGROUND

Grace Homes has been building homes since 1999, and has gained a reputation for creating high quality, distinctive homes on small developments in exclusive locations.  

Our goal was to increase brand awareness, drive on-page traffic, raise awareness of their sustainable homes and improve the user journey via technical fixes.  

APPROACH

We reviewed the user experience (UX) of the site by conducting a technical SEO audit to measure the website health and check for any required technical and user experience optimisations. We implemented redirects for properties that had been sold, optimised meta descriptions, updated form CTAs, reviewed the navigation and redesigned location pages.  

To raise awareness of sustainable homes, we created a new sustainability section on the website and added it to the navigation. We created a landing page targeting the keyword ‘energy-efficient homes’ and why you should choose Grace Homes. The sustainability messaging was also prioritised in all content including paid social and award entries.  

We have been optimising location pages by using long-tail keyword phrases to improve rankings for new build homes in Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.  

RESULTS

Several keywords climbed a number of positions in Google including: 

‘New homes in Northamptonshire’

is in position 14, compared to position 33 in December 

‘New homes in Leicestershire’

is in position 19, compared to position 26 

‘Hanwood Park’

climbed 30 positions and is now in position 7, on the first page of Google 

As a result of this, we have seen an increase in sessions by 19% and increase in organic traffic by 11%.  

Since December, we have seen an increase in users of 14%, resulting in the average click through rate increasing from 1.6% to 2.9%. Grace Homes domain authority has also increased from 22 to 24.
