BACKGROUND
Looking to increase its awareness to US and European audiences, crop insight firm HarvestEye headed to international fruit and veg exhibitions – Potato Expo and Fruit Logistica – to demonstrate the benefits of its pre-harvest diagnostic tool to growers and packers.
APPROACH
Having previously only engaged via organic social and press, we developed short and snappy one-week LinkedIn ad campaigns ahead of each show. This saw the creation of different visuals, including carousel and static adverts highlighting the breadth, capability, and subscription options of the system, drawing in new growers and packers in the USA and Europe.
We combined targeted leads from the client with specific job title set parameters via LinkedIn, tying into strategic business development aims in each territory.
RESULTS
he campaign demonstrated strong awareness results across a short space of time, driving requests for meetings at the shows, as well as broader understanding of how the system can adapt to the unique harvesting conditions of the respective targeted countries.
Initial benchmarks given by LinkedIn were met and exceeded, with the Fruit Logistica results demonstrating a 1,700% uplift in accounts reached, allowing the HarvestEye team to strengthen relationships and broaden new ones in key business territories.
