BACKGROUND

Indegno is an Italian street food and fast-casual dining concept originating from Bologna. With three established venues in Italy, the award-winning company took the step to expand into the UK market, launching its first restaurant in London’s Shoreditch in October 2023.

Following on from the successful launch period facilitated by Cartwright’s marketing, PR and social team, we were tasked with accumulating further brand awareness and building an engaged community of food lovers through ongoing organic social media across Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.  

APPROACH

Over a six-month period, we created a dynamic social media strategy, prioritising consistent and regular posting in line with the newly-developed social suite of graphics.

The team also maximised on videography and content creation days as well as events, to support the creation of a diverse range of organic content, with a focus on unique Instagram reels and TikToks to communicate and translate the brand – this was supported by frequent in-platform community engagement sessions to maintain an interactive relationship with the audience.  

RESULTS

We surpassed our initial goals of gaining 1,000 followers within the first six months of social media management and exceeded KPIs by securing a 3.8% engagement rate on Instagram. By sharing 65+ unique pieces of content and spearheading several influencer collaborations, we delivered over and above for Indegno, which has resulted in 23K profile visits, 3.6K content interactions and 3.2K new followers across platforms from scratch.
