LEADING full-service marketing agency Cartwright Communications has continued its expansion with the appointment of three new directors.
Content director Tom Snee and account directors Fran Prince and Katie Nelson have been made company directors following a strong year for the Nottingham-headquartered agency, including its recent listing within PR Week’s Top UK PR agency rankings.
The move follows the appointment of Annie Brafield and Rose Hayes as shareholding directors, and forms part of the agency’s wider strategy for future growth under managing director Liz Cartwright.
Liz said: “Cartwright has a really talented team and it was time to recognise some of our senior key players in recognition of their loyalty and hard work and we will continue to build our directorship in this way. I am excited for what is to come both in terms of new clients and opportunities but also growing our services in our three locations.”
Alongside the launch of offices in both Birmingham and London during the past 18 months, the agency has also successfully launched a number of new service lines and now boasts a 30-strong team of PR, digital, social media, brand and marketing experts. It is an accredited ‘Great Place To Work’ ranking the sixth best small business for women to work for and in the top 25 for wellbeing in the UK.
Tom has been with Cartwright Communications for five years and has headed up its content team for the last three. He said: “Having seen the business grow the way it has over the last few years, it really is an honour to be asked to step up and take a key role in shaping our future strategy.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to learn from the best in the business and represent our core principles of content-led strategy, creating great results and connections for clients, and – most importantly – looking after our team.”
Having joined Cartwright just over a year ago with a strong background in retail and food and drink comms, Fran has been fundamental in growing the consumer arm of the business and diversifying its digital and multichannel service offering.
She said: “It’s a privilege to work among such a dynamic and talented team of individuals and to have had the opportunity within the senior team to bring in my consumer experience, helping to grow this side of the business.
“Our directors’ passion and persistence are a joy to watch in action, and this translates throughout our team of experts, who are strategic thinkers that deliver award-winning results. I’m so excited to continue to nurture this business ethos and evolve our services into the future alongside our leadership team.”
Katie has also been with Cartwright for five years and specialises in supporting the agency’s built environment clients. She said: “Having had roots in property and construction since our inception, I’m looking forward to working with the senior team on nurturing this arm of the business further, driving the stellar results our clients and the wider industry know us for.
“Recent years have been truly transformational for the agency with our expansion, awards and becoming full service. What’s coming next is equally as exciting, and I couldn’t be more pleased to be working alongside our team of directors to drive this strategy and take Cartwright into the future.”
